Just over 65,000 viewers tuned into Facebook and YouTube to take in all the action from Round 1 of the 2022 Motorsport Australia VSRS.
Chair for the VSRS Paul Zsidy commented he was pleased with the numbers, “we are really pleased to see strong viewership for the opening round adn it is something we can continue to build on for the remainder of the year. Strong fields, a well run event and improvements in the BTV product have all contributed to strong exposure for the categories and their partners”
Blendline owner Daniel Beckinsdale was pleased despite hurdles in the lead up, “many know we had Facebook take our Blendline TV page down the week of the event, which put a bit of a hurdle up for us but the strong exposure of BTV on YouTube, the VSRS social media and some partners ensure a strong result and to have 65k viewers is above what our expectation”.
