As you would all be aware this year’s Championships have been severely disrupted by the Covid pandemic gripping many states of Australia. In order to clarify the situation the Executive of VSRS Inc intends to releasing the following statement.
We have been forced to cancel rounds four and five of the 2021 VSCRC. This leaves some categories having scored points in three rounds and some only two rounds.
Those categories that have completed three rounds namely, Formula Ford, Formula Ford 1600, Formula Vee, Sports Cars, Sports Sedans, Saloon Cars, Improved Production, 944 Challenge, MG and Invited British Sports Cars and BMW E30 the championship has been declared.
For those categories that have only completed two rounds namely, HQ Holdens, Excels and Historic Touring Cars, we are exploring options for them to score points at alternative events. It is anticipated that HQ’s and HTC will compete at Sandown Historics and Excels will compete at PIARC’ Island Magic meeting.
